About Us

Sawtooth Stone decided to spread its wings in 2003. Carl Borgstrom and Bruce Mitchell, whom had only meet on one other occasion felt they had been friends for a life time, decided to go into business together.  Carl owned the Yukon Gold Quarry and Bruce had active leases on private, state and federal lands.  Currently Sawtooth Stone is in control of 1,700 acres of building and landscape stone land that they are currently working to develop over the next 3-5 years, with more acreage being added at every opportunity.

Sawtooth Stone is currently a supplier of Quartzite flagstone in 5 different colors.  They range in size from ½”-3/4” minus up to 3” Pavers, Extra Large Slabs, Boulders, ledge stone in a 4”-6”.  A new product we offer that is a maximum 3” bed depth with a minimum of 1 ½” bed depth.  We also offer a quartzite river rock that has been tumbled over millions of years and 40-50 miles to become our Frontier Tumbled Cobble, in boulders, flats and ledge stone.

In 2013 we entered into a lease agreement for Basalt ground cover in ¾” minus up to dry stack or sliver veneer sizes.

We are proud to have a very experienced crew of artisans that sort, split and palletize the stone so it is ready for your building or landscape project.  Sawtooth Stone prides its company on reliability, integrity and an exceptional, quality product.

The whole team here at Sawtooth Stone looks forward to serving you.
